Onensmus Mwaura

I am an alumnus of the International MSc in Nematology from Ghent University and MSc in Crop Protection from the University of Nairobi. I specialized in plant cellular and molecular response to biotic stress occasioned by the infection of root-knot nematodes in Arabidopsis. I formerly worked at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and the International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology [2016-2021]. I am enthusiastic about societal empowerment through knowledge and technology transfer. My current role involves training university technical staff on biotechnology and biosafety in sub-Saharan Africa.
